The Blitzwolf USB Condenser mic sounds very good as a budget USB studio mic when you hold your mouth around 6-9″ away from the front of the microphone. Used for this purpose it is an excellent mic and highly recommended, if you need to move around a lot or can’t be that close to the mic it does however have dramatic drop off in pick up after 12″ and it is a cardoid mic with only sound pickup from one direction, it is not omnidirectional so keep this in mind when considering. Overall the mic fared much better than the Neewer Condenser mic I had tested, and was slightly better than the TONOR budget mic though only when very close to the mic, the TONOR had better distance pick up. The included entire mic kit, stand arm, wind sock, wind screen and the fact it is plug N play USB ready make this a good budget mic option for voice recording, voiceovers and casters who generally speak close to their mic and sit still.
