So my Anaconda goes looking for Thargoids with my Xeno Scanner and 4 AX Missile Racks with 64 ammo each. You can’t synthesize new ammo for the AX Missile Racks. Thargoids regenerate their hull very quickly, this was the first battle where I quickly am overwhelmed. As it turns out I wind up using my fighters as distractions so I can jump away.
When you scan them you can target the Thargoid hearts, but I was only able to destroy 1 heart before I ran out of ammo you can’t replenish your ammo. Thinking you need a wing, because they limit you to 4 experimental weapon slots for thargoid weapons and without ammo replenish you don’t have enough shots to destroy all the hearts.
