I play Deck of Ashes for the first time on a stream and immediately became a fan of the game which combines the elements of Darkest Dungeon with an RPG Card Battler to make for a challenging but rewarding roguelike strategy RPG game. I like how on permadeath failure you still earn experience to unlock new cards which can boost your odds of winning, and the creative patterns you can play in combat.
