Deerpwr showcases the Melcam 1080p ring light webcam which as a built in privacy cover as well. This webcam has a 65 degree angle lens making it good for streamers who don’t want a lot of background in their webcam area. The ring light has a light touch button on the right side of the webcam to activate 3-Level brightness modes. This plug N play webcam does not require any software and works with any camera software like Zoom, Teams, Streamlabs OBS, OBS Studio, Windows Camera App…etc. It has a 2 megapixel CMOS image sensor, and auto brightness with fast autofocus.
In testing the webcam quality and image were very good, the mic itself was a bit lacking and picked up too much background noise and was not as good as some higher end webcam microphones. Still it is a decent webcam for the price, just want to use a separate mic like a headset or USB Condenser mic, or use audio filtering software to help remove background noise like Nvidia Broadcast to clean it up a bit.
