My son told me to play Northgard with him which has incredible visuals and is quite challenging and bit slower paced than other RTS games. You are slowly paced with how fast you can produce villagers and warriors, turning villagers into other units you claim sections of land at a time and have to manage your food, wood, stone, gold and lore to expand and thrive while keeping your villagers happy at the same time.
