This is one of the most unique ring lights I have reviewed as it is an entire DIY kit that comes with 3 mini tripods and a full sized tripod. The light kit has 6 light bars and each bar can operated completely independently or they can be connected to be a 6 light panel ring light. They can arrange in all sorts of patterns, hexagon, square, rectangle, L, O…etc. and have 3 different color temperatures and varied brightness settings.
The included phone clamp is the weakest component, the gooseneck arm is weak and my iPhone 12 Pro Max with case was too heavy for the gooseneck arm to hold it in place, it just kept tilting down. There was some shakiness at the top of the tripod where the light mounts but it is stable, overall the lighting kit is impressive, but it doesn’t work well to use the phone mount portion if you have a larger and heavier phone, especially with a case on.
