Testing the IR Night Vision mode on the Seree HDV-S14 camcorder which supports a hotshoe for external mic which I haven’t tried yet. The camcorder is a budget camcorder and the night vision IR and negative modes are pretty cool. Overall the low 15 frames per second at 1080p is a bit disappointing and the way zoom works staggering each increment instead of smooth scrolling is not ideal. 720p recording works at 30fps on this model.
